1. Scope
These terms apply to all services provided by Blattwerk Studio ("we", "us") and use of our website. By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to these terms. Austrian law governs all agreements unless otherwise stated in writing.
2. Services
Blattwerk Studio provides indoor plant styling services including consultations, design schemes, installations, and maintenance for residential and commercial clients in Vienna and surrounding areas. Service descriptions and prices on this website are indicative; final scope and cost are confirmed in written quotations.
3. Quotations and Contracts
- Verbal estimates are non-binding. Written quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- A contract is formed when you accept a quotation in writing (email or signed document) and pay any required deposit.
- Deposits of 30% are required for installation projects exceeding €500. The balance is due upon completion.
4. Consultations and Assessments
Light & Site Assessments (€89) and design consultations are charged at the rates published on our pricing page. Assessment fees are non-refundable but may be credited toward a subsequent scheme or installation if booked within 60 days.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Consultations may be rescheduled with 24 hours' notice at no charge.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice incur the full consultation fee.
- Installation cancellations after plant ordering may incur costs for procured materials.
6. Plant Guarantee
Plants supplied and installed by Blattwerk Studio are guaranteed for 30 days from installation date, provided care instructions are followed. Replacement covers plant cost only; delivery and labour for replacement are included. The guarantee does not cover damage from neglect, pets, environmental changes, or failure to follow the provided watering schedule.
7. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about light conditions, access, and property constraints
- Ensure safe access to the property during scheduled visits
- Follow provided care instructions and watering schedules
- Notify us promptly of any plant health concerns
- Inform us of pets, allergies, or species restrictions before plant selection
8. Maintenance Services
Maintenance visits are billed at €75/h with a one-hour minimum. Monthly contracts are invoiced in advance. Either party may terminate recurring maintenance with 14 days' written notice.
9. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the service contract. We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, or consequential losses. We carry standard business liability insurance. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Intellectual Property
Design schemes, placement maps, and care documentation remain our intellectual property. Clients receive a licence to use these materials for their own property. Reproduction or commercial use requires written permission.
11. Website Use
Website content is provided for information purposes. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not warrant that content is complete or current. Unauthorised use of website content, including text and design, is prohibited.
12. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable GDPR requirements.
13. Dispute Resolution
We aim to resolve disputes amicably. If resolution is not possible, the courts of Vienna, Austria, have exclusive jurisdiction. Austrian consumer protection law applies to consumer contracts.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. Changes apply to new contracts from the date of publication. Existing contracts are governed by the terms in effect at the time of agreement.
